Little black lava hoops

One pair left. Old stock. No flaws. I won't be making these again.

Simple black hoop earrings with little pieces of real lava. Dark and easy to wear, this little pair are careful crafted in the West Clare TAeR Studios along the Wild Atlantic Way. 

The Lava is a natural stone so it has unique holes and crevices which will vary from pair to pair.  The hoops are made using a slim 0.8mm gauge eco sterling silver wire, which means they are super light and easy to wear.

The Process

After each hoop is carefully measured, moulded into shape, hardened and polised clean, the silver is then oxidised to create that subtle oxidised charcoal colour. I gently wash and pat dry the oxidised hoops again before the lava is added and the final hook hooked. It is only after this process that they are eventually all wrapped up, ready for their new home.

Measurements

The hoops hang approximately 2.5cm long (1")

The silver wire used is .8mm comfort fit.

Packaging

Every piece of Taer Jewellery is carefully gift wrapped in recycled packaging, from the logo embossed matt grey box, to the business cards. There will never be any plastic in your packaging from Taer, and everything is fully recyclable again.
